I had no idea you joined in only March of this year. I assumed you were on the site much longer with all the effort you took to build a new home for us. It must have been strange, the shutdown announcement coming in just as you were getting used to the site(?)
I think I had my account since 2015. My oldest messages said they were from 10 years ago but I don’t have my sign-up e-mail any longer. I was most active in 2016 and my longest gap was for 2 years. Even with a large gap, I took for granted that I could come back and it would be the first place I would go to whenever I wanted to hear something new.
I’m also one of those who lost their original account data, but through talking to a friend I met on TB, we puzzled out that I signed up around 2012. I checked the site almost daily, even if I didn’t always post something, but I got lots of amazing music discoveries from there.
I join TB towards the end of 2011. It was a few months after I’d finished some really shitty medical treatment that completely upended my life, and TB was THE ONLY constant thing I’ve had in all that time. Even if I didn’t use it for months at a time, it was still always there. It feels really weird that it’s gone so I thank all of you who are still here and still sharing music etc that I haven’t heard before, even if our community is much smaller now.
I joined Tastebuds in March 2025.

Yeah, I was VERY late to the party.
I joined in 2012. Lost my original account in late 2012. Then came back with another account in May 2013.
