I will start things off by sharing my experience at Aftershock 2025. It's an annual heavy metal music festival hosted in Sacramento, CA. While the festival went on for four days (October 2nd to the 5th), I only bought a day pass for the Friday line-up, which included the following bands:

As you may have already heard, we lost a legend in Heavy Metal. Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22nd, 2025. He was 76 years old.

Matt Cameron Leaves Pearl Jam After 27 Years

After being the full time drummer for Pearl Jam since 1998, Matt Cameron, famously the drummer of Soundgarden, has left the band. He was the longest running drummer for Pearl Jam, in a series of great drummers.
